Twice the Fun!

After chatting with our coordinator, we are definitely adopting two little ones from Ethiopia! We hope that they will be related twins, but if not, they will be two children approximately the same age. Holy Cow!! We are starting to read up on raising two kids and joining Mothers of Twins clubs and garage saling for another high chair and everything else. It is mind boggling which is great because I am sure the reality of it will actually be mind numbing so I will settle for mind-boggling right now :) Just thought I would share with those who care!

Our homestudy is done! In less than 5, yes folks I said 5 days, our homestudy update has been completed! Here is my official gotta get it list:

Jeff's employment letter
Marraige license (the one we have from last year is too old!)
Family Registration form
Medical Form
Copy of the Deed for our house
Bank letter (waiting til our account shows a tad bit more money :) ha-ha!)

So pretty much we should have all of these things within the next few days and then be ready to send everything off to the state for authentication, then on to US Dept of State and the Ethiopian Embassy. Guess where the paperwork goes from there?!! ETHIOPIA! We are looking good for being on target for a late July arrival of our dossier in country. Keep praying everybody - the fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much!

Noelle's new doll

Noelle received $5 from the tooth fairy for her ordeal and she decided to purchase a new doll. I am just so pleased at her selection. She thought the doll was beautiful and it came with a cat. She thought it might look like her new sister :) Can't wait for pictures and to find out whether we are having boys, girls or one of each (Noelle is secretly hoping for girls - well not really that secretly!)

Got shakes?

So Noelle had oral surgery to remove two bad molars (long story involving horrible dentistry and such) and came through very well! Thanks for your prayers everybody. She is now happily showing off her very spacious lower choppers. We should have had a video for her wake up from the drugs - it was hilarious :) Noelle (and I) enjoyed homemade shakes from Gramma! She did the soft and cold food routine for 1 day and then wanted to eat everything in site. She has been very tired after such an emotional few days, but is not willing to admit it. Hopefully she will sleep in tomorrow. A mom can dream :)
