Spring Break!

Noelle is on spring break this week and has had a great time so far! Gramma had Noelle spend the night - her first sleepover that she will remember!!! -on Sunday night. Then, they spent the day together shopping, dining and playing. Thanks Gramma! Today, Noelle got to spend time with her friends Sidney and Tali, eat spaghetti (her favorite) and it was even warm enough to play on the really big playground at the park! Tomorrow, we are going to laze around the house watching videos we just rented, sign up for T-Ball, and go to puppet shows in the evening put on by one of the reading classes at NIU. Who knows what Thursday will bring! Spring break sure is turning out to be a special time this year!

All in all we are still plugging along at work and still getting everything ready for when "the call" arrives for baby brother or sister. We are telling ourselves we might get the best Christmas present ever this year, but hopefully it will be earlier :) We live in hope and keep up the faith!

Noelle's Fashion Show

Something to keep you entertained while we wait for a referral. Noelle wanted to do a fashion model so her Daddy obliged. We picked out some of her favorite outfits and she picked out the poses :) Enjoy!

We're Not Moving

Well, we're not moving. Bradley offered the position to someone else, who accepted. Unless something else comes up, we will remain at NIU for another year. On the plus side, this means no new paperwork for the adoption, Noelle will stay at her same school for Kindergarten, no new learning curve for me for teaching, we keep our same friends and continue at the church we have come to love. On the down side, I won't get that nice boost in pay for moving from an instructor to assistant professor. BUT - Jeff will still be working so money is not really an issue.

We are thankful for the answer, and trust that God has a plan for us.

I will post more pictures soon since most people enjoy them :)
